ButtonmyButtons by Shahida Shariff
Personally, I am quite impressed when I saw the creations from Shahida Shariff with her label buttonmybuttons. It’s been a long time since I saw a significant amount of talent to create such a fun wear.
Yes, fun is the word for this young girl. Most of the designs I’ve seen are made to cater young, fresh and urban jungle residence, from someone who is only 13 year old who you can see laughing and munching McDonalds at Bukit Bintang to stylish 30 year old office executive.
Shahida is kind like going to the different directions. While most of the Malay designers tend to stick to Malay or bridal wear business, she is comfortable with her urban modern approach. It is a fierce market for this kind of wear (think Plaza Bukit Bintang) but if Shahida continuously doing her thing and keeps the momentum going and always coming out with super unique and exclusive pieces, she’ll be big, very big.
One of important reason why you should look at Buttonmybuttons is the fair price. The shoes are as cheap as RM39 and the adorable handmade bag, around RM59 to RM79!
