Sienna Miller for Vogue
It is a big boost for my Monday blues to see Sienna Miller on the cover Vogue in red one shoulder Calvin Klein dress. It reminds me of 1990’s when one shoulder is like so big and every designer from Versace in Italy to Sonny Sun in Malaysia comes out with at least a piece of one shoulder. Calvin Klein is the epitome of simple one shoulder. Now it is happening again.
Left: Alexander Wang plum polyamide dress. Regitze Overgaard for Georg Jensen sterling-silver bracelet.
Right: Calvin Klein Collection custom azalea silk single-shoulder dress.
Nina Ricci fuchsia silk-satin one-shoulder tunic, leggings, and Swarovski-crystal bead necklace. Pierre Hardy gold water-snake open-toe boots with leather trim.
Gucci iridescent emerald-and-black crystal-embroidered silk minidress, belt, and leggings. VBH pearl-and-diamond earrings.
V woman
This is what wig, oversized bra and my father pleated pants can do to you.
You look like someone else. This is Ashley Olsen (yes, that twin) for V magazine; that explains the pants, photographed by Sebastian Feena.
Don’t you think she looks like Penelope Cruz!
The coverboy just superb! Not so perfect skin and tired puffy eyes is the new ‘in’ thing. Who needs photoshop?
Arts Appreciation @ KLCC
My bestie, Jamsari from Kota Kinabalu Sabah is in town and last Saturday is his last day after a short ‘book shopping’ in KL. While waiting for his flight, we went to Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
It is officially an art appreciation day for us at Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC).
Our first stop is at Glam Uncovered. To learn more click here.
It is just amazing. It just brings back all the memories. A blast from the past. I remember it really well because I have like ALL the copies. Wirda and team are just amazing!
Next stop is Eng Tay ‘The Exhibition’ located at Galeri Petronas. It is the most comprehensive collection of prints, paintings, life sized sculptures, marquettes and hand painted ceramic works. It is until 17 May 09.
It is worth a visit!
Amy Adams on May W Magazine
A polished Amy Adams for W magazine, thanks to Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 (or probably some ‘digital fixing’).
What a femme fatale!
I love everything about the look. The structured jacket is so sharp and bold, the hat is oh so foxy, the ear ring looks so visible and fierce and the black nails; does it means black nails are back?
Ladies, remember, don’t copy this look if you are a normal person on a normal day (not so normal like magazine editors!). You can wear everything Amy wearing but don’t just do it at once!
Halle Berry on Harpers Bazaar US May 2009
Who want to be Halle Berry? Almost everyone! (forget about that suicide attempt).
She is happy with a boy who loves her and a baby who she really loves.
But what with that freaking wig? Sometimes we can’t get anything we want (beautiful and natural looking wig included!).
She is still beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
